To see with your own eyes
On the 30th of September tours to industrial enterprises were conducted within the framework of the business platform. The opportunity to have a look at the process of power distribution is rather rare.
At first the participants visited Mayskiy power plant, one of the biggest Russian small-scale power generation facilities. This is a modern cogeneration plant with capacity of 23,490 kW and a boiler station of 28 MW. During the tour the participants could see the on-site power generating facility in operation, find out how the power generating equipment is installed and operated. The participants of the business platform also witnessed the signing of memorandum of cooperation between Zelenodolsky Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan, Mayskiy power plant and Osinovo rural settlement.
Besides, the participants of the business platform had a chance to visit the power plant of the Fonika Gips Plant (Aksolit TM). The complex includes the underground mine, limestone quarry, on-site gas engine power plant, two research laboratories, lines for gypsum crushing and gypsum construction materials production. The plant is equipped with the modern European equipment which meets the international quality standards. The manufacturing is carried out with the use of new technologies developed and implemented by the European companies leading in this sector. The specialists of the plant and the production laboratory underwent the training at the German companies. ‘The high quality of products is achieved thanks to the high automation level and the minimum influence of the human factor on the operational process and gypsum quality’, explained the Chief Process Engineer, Igor Belkov.
We’d like to remind that Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH took part in a series of forums “On-site power generation for enterprises’, including the events held in Moscow, Krasnodar and Yekaterinburg, where the company’s representatives visited the on-site power generating facilities based on MWM power plants, namely Magnit logistic center, Sredneuralskiy Copper Plant, on-site cogeneration power of Bogdanovicheskaya Power Generating Company, etc.
