Expansion of the genuine MWM Spare Parts Campaign: Landing Pages, Video Clips, Social Media, and Google

The genuine MWM spare parts campaign to ensure maximum availability and performance of MWM cogeneration power plants and gas-fired power plants was stepped up in 2024 to support plant operators in the efficient use of MWM gas engines with high-quality MWM spare parts.

Distributed Heat and Power Generation Projects Rolled out around the Globe with MWM Generator Sets

Some of the energy projects rolled out together with MWM distributors in 2024:

Thailand: Power supply of the food factory Uthai Rung Co., Ltd. secured with MWM TCG 2020 V16 gas engine in island-mode operation
Poland: Polygeneration deployment in Gorzów Wielkopolski hospital
Uzbekistan: Installation of two TCG 3020 V20 engines JSC Thermal Power Plants
United Kingdom: More than 1 GW of total output with 650 MWM gas engines installed since 2006
Germany: Engines of Bitburger Braugruppe replaced with two MWM TCG 3020 V20 generator sets

Market Expansion for Latin America

The website mwmenergy.lat was launched in Portuguese and Spanish for the Central and South American markets. In addition, a Spanish language version was added to the main website mwm.net. Caterpillar Energy Solutions added this world language as a further target group-specific offering for Spanish-speaking customers.

Expanded Activities in Central Asia and Central and Eastern Europe

With its new office location in Almaty, Kazakhstan, MWM expanded its activities and customer service in the Central Asian countries. With its new positioning, MWM is able to systematically roll out even more energy projects in the region.

In November 2024, RSE s.r.o, a leading manufacturer of distributed cogeneration power plants from Brno, Czech Republic, signed a key account agreement with MWM to intensify the cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe.

New Product Variant Complements MWM Gas Engine Lineup

The introduction of the 60 Hz version of the MWM TCG 3020 V20 engines opens up new market opportunities and offers plant operators a wider choice for power generation with MWM engines.

Further Service Offerings for Customers

New episodes of the MWM service tutorial video series “Do it the smart way” offer clear and practical maintenance instructions.
QR codes on the engines take the user to a digital platform with relevant service documents.
