New offering for customers and distributors: QR codes on MWM gas engines link to digital service documents

To make it easier for customers and distributors to access service documents and information material on MWM gas engines, Caterpillar Energy Solutions has started equipping all MWM gas engines with QR codes. The QR code links directly to an online platform where relevant service documents for the gas engine can be found.
Direct access to custom-tailored service documents
Distributors and customers can access relevant service documents about MWM gas engines and products on the central online platform with integrated service library. With this new service offering, Caterpillar Energy Solutions has created a simple, straightforward solution for retrieving service documents and services.
Using QR codes, plant operators can access important documents for their plant directly via the online platform. In addition to the service library, the platform features access to important functions and documents such as technical circulars, helpful links to MWM spare parts, the digital control system MWM Remote Asset Monitoring (RAM), MWM product flyers, and the MWM Learning Center.
Equipment and retrofitting of MWM gas engines with QR codes
New MWM engines bear QR codes from the outset. Existing plants with MWM gas engines are retrofitted with QR codes by MWM Service and the official MWM distributors. Moreover, customers can find and contact the service and sales partners for their region via the platform.
