BGK is a district heating project realized by private investors via IPP (independent power producer) scheme. The older boiler house of the city of Bogdanovich, Sverdlovsk region in Russia, was upgraded with two MWM TCG 2032 V16 gas engines. The entire project took less than nine months from signing the contract to the first kWh sold to the external electrical grid. The heat is supplied in form of hot water and heating into the public networks of Bogdanovich.
