MWM partner Electrosystems delivers two MWM TCG 2020 V20 CHP containers to a harbour facility in the Russian city Novorossiysk
Mannheim, 25.10.2016
In November 2015 MWM has been rewarded with the order of two containerized CHP plants run by two MWM TCG 2020 V20 gas engines with a total electric and thermal output of 4 MW for the KSK Grain Terminal located at the harbour of the Russian industry location Novorossiysk. As the high efficient power plant is located directly in the harbour area, MWM together with it’s official partner Electrosystems had to design a solution suitable for the limited available space and the climate conditions in Novorossiysk with very hot summer temperatures and high humidity.
As a result of perfect local support, engineering and professional project management both units have been shipped from the factory in July 2015 to its final destination in Russia. Thus the distributed power plant at one of Russia’s major port cities will soon prove to be a rewarding investment.
The MWM CHP container
The biggest advantages of the MWM container solutions and gas engines are the reduced civil works on site, the small installation space, the lower engineering time and costs, but most important: the flexibility to adopt the system for unique customer requirements and site conditions.
The distributed power plant at the site of Novorossiysk is customized to the needs and conditions of the harbour city at the western black sea coast of Russia.
All in one: The MWM CHP container includes the TCG 2020 V20 gas engine and all required auxiliary equipment.
